OYO PILOT PROGRAM
Launch Date: August 9, 2026
The beginning of a movement to promote trust, create value and empower lives.
The Oyo Pilot Program is the first public expression of the Trust Score Initiative model. It brings values education, responsible empowerment, leadership development, entrepreneurship, mentorship and community collaboration together in one structured programme.
The official launch on August 9, 2026, will also mark the presentation of the first batch of approved business equipment to qualified participants and the formal launch of the TSI Handbook.
Why the Oyo Pilot Program Exists
Opportunity carries responsibility. The Oyo Pilot Program helps participants understand that simple truth and practise it in everyday life.
Through structured training and community engagement, participants will learn how to build trust, manage resources, communicate responsibly, develop entrepreneurial discipline and contribute positively to society.
The programme also provides qualified business owners with access to an interest-free equipment loan. TSI will not give cash directly to participants. Instead, approved business equipment will be provided based on the needs of each qualifying business.
This support is designed for people who have completed the required training, demonstrated responsibility and shown that they have the ability to repay the value of the equipment received.
The Oyo Pilot is more than a launch event. It is the foundation of the broader Nigeria Ready Brand vision, which seeks to raise trustworthy people who can manage opportunities responsibly and build businesses that create lasting value.
August 9, 2026: The Official Launch
On August 9, 2026, Trust Score Initiative will officially launch the Oyo Pilot Program.
How the Interest-Free Equipment Loan Works
Before participants can qualify for the equipment loan, they must complete a structured training programme containing 12 lessons. These lessons cover trust, accountability, personal responsibility, record-keeping, communication, business discipline, entrepreneurship and responsible financial management.
Completing the training does not automatically guarantee approval. Each participant must also show that the business is active or ready to operate, that the requested equipment will support productive work, and that the repayment plan is realistic.
The equipment loan runs for nine months:
- First three months: The participant uses the equipment to strengthen or grow the business.
- Final six months: The participant repays the agreed value of the equipment in instalments.
- Interest rate: The loan is completely interest-free.
- Form of support: TSI provides approved business equipment, not cash.
- Qualification: Participants must complete all 12 lessons and demonstrate the ability and willingness to repay.
Repayments will return to the programme so that other qualified participants can receive equipment and build their businesses. In this way, one opportunity can continue creating opportunities for others.
What Participants Can Expect
The programme combines clear teaching with reflection, practical action, mentorship and follow-up. Participants will not be treated as passive recipients. They’ll be expected to learn, ask questions, keep accurate records, communicate honestly and apply every lesson to their personal lives, businesses and communities.
Participants can expect support in five key areas:
- Training: Twelve practical lessons that prepare participants for responsible business ownership and empowerment.
- Mentorship: Guidance from experienced mentors who understand business, leadership and community responsibility.
- Trust Score: A fair assessment of each participant’s conduct, consistency, accountability and readiness for support.
- Entrepreneurship: Practical help with business discipline, record-keeping, customer service, resource management and repayment planning.
- Community Action: Opportunities to use personal and business growth to contribute positively to the wider community.
